Join us at the Bangalow Bowlo on Sunday the 11th August for some select Byron Writers Festival events.

From 12:30 pm watch the John West Youth Poetry Cup. Open to anyone 10-18 years old. There’s $500 up for grabs for the winner. All you have to do is read/recite a single original poem.

Then at 2:00pm, Wordworks kicks off, an open mic and slam featuring Rob Waters, Sarah Temporal, David Hallett.
